The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA) and the visiting Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA), saw Wachusett Regional's volleyball squad beat Sutton by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Wachusett Regional upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Mountaineers host Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA) to play the Chieftains in a Midland-Wachusett A bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Nashoba Regional won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA)

The Sammies now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hopedale for a Dual Valley bout on Wednesday, September 21. Sutton will play a Blue Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Ursuline Academy (Dedham, MA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 5-0.
