The Highland Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Rio Grande Ravens to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a non-league game on Friday, September 22. Highland will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Belen (Belen, NM). The Vikings record now stands at 2-1.
The Ravens (2-3) will now prepare for their game against East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Timberwolves enter the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, East Mountain was dropped by Belen (Belen, NM), 2-0, in a non-league game.
