The Cavemen now hold a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Organ Mountain for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 21. Carlsbad will battle a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Cibola (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 23. Artesia will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 5-3 record after their 0-0 non-league Portales (Portales, NM).
