Gibbs Eagles (Corryton, TN) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Fulton Falcons (Knoxville, TN), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles face the South-Doyle Cherokees (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Gibbs will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Cherokees enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Cocke County (Newport, TN).
The Falcons now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Knoxville Central for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 20. Fulton will face a Bobcats team coming off a 7-0 league win over Halls (Knoxville, TN). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-0.
