In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets soccer squad scored a close 2-0 win over the Cape Fear Colts.
The Blue Comets (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Grizzlies go into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record.
The Colts (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, South View nipped Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
