The Lake Minneola Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Windermere Prep Lakers to 1 in the Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Ridge for a non-league game on Thursday, September 21. Lake Minneola will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ridge Community (Davenport, FL). The Knights record now stands at 4-1.
The Lakers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against The First Academy (Orlando, FL). The Royals enter the non-league game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, The First Academy held off Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
