In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Tahanto Regional Stags soccer squad scored a close 5-1 win over the Clinton Gaels.
The Stags (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Oakmont Regional nipped Maynard (Maynard, MA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
The Gaels (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fitchburg (Fitchburg, MA). The Red Raiders go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Fitchburg nipped Ayer Shirley (Ayer, MA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
