Nebraska High School Softball - Raymond Central bounces Cuming County

September 19, 2023: West Point, NE 68788

Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cuming County Cadets (West Point, NE), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 7-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tekamah-Herman for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Raymond Central will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, Cuming County falls to 5-18 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to Boone Central/Newman Grove (Albion, NE) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 21. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Boone Central/Newman Grove won 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Ord (Ord, NE)
