The Jackson Fighting Indians softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Poplar Bluff Mules to 8 in the Fighting Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Jackson moves its record to 22-4 on the year. The Fighting Indians host Howell Central (St. Charles, MO) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 7-12.

In their next game, the Mules clash with the East Carter Redbirds (Ellsinore, MO) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 21. Poplar Bluff will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Redbirds come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, MO).
