The Ichabod Crane Riders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Albany Academy for Girls Bears to 0 in the Riders league victory on Tuesday.
The Riders now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk for a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty game on Wednesday, September 20. Ichabod Crane will meet a Indians team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Catholic Central (Troy, NY). The Indians record now stands at 2-6.
The Bears (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY). The Blackbirds enter the Section 2 Colonial - Liberty game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Voorheesville defeated Lansingburgh (Troy, NY), 3-1, in a league game.
