The Andrew Jackson Volunteers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cheraw Braves to 0 in the Volunteers league victory on Tuesday.
The Volunteers now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chesterfield for a AA Region 5 game on Wednesday, September 20. Andrew Jackson will meet a Golden Rams team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to McBee (McBee, SC). The Golden Rams record now stands at 1-6.
The Braves (0-8) will now prepare for their game against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Patriots enter the AA Region 5 game with a 5-7 record. In their last game, York Prep gained a win over Central (Pageland, SC), 3-1, in a league game.
