The Greyhounds now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Cross for a Naugatuck Valley test on Thursday, September 21. Naugatuck will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 3-1 league win over Wolcott (Wolcott, CT). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-1.

The Chargers (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Derby (Derby, CT). The Red Raiders enter the Naugatuck Valley test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Derby was knocked off by Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT), 3-0, in a league test.
