The Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers topped the visiting Bassick Lions volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ludlowe for a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset test on Friday, September 22.
The Lions (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Bullard-Havens was knocked off by Kaynor Tech (Waterbury, CT), 3-0, in a non-league test.
