The Benjamin Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Merkel Badgers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now have a 25-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Veribest for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Benjamin will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 16-8.
The Badgers (22-6) will now prepare for their game against Compass Academy (Odessa, TX). The enter the 3A Region I District 3 game with a 13-7 record. In their last game, Compass Academy dropped by Alpine (Alpine, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
