The Horizon Hawks held off the host Boone Braves volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hawks now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edgewater for a 6A District 6 test on Thursday, September 21. Horizon will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Wekiva (Apopka, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
The Braves (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Lake Mary (Lake Mary, FL). The Rams enter the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Lake Mary held off Geneva (Winter Park, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
