The Cooper Cougars volleyball team (Abilene, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Graham Steers (Graham, TX)

The Steers (18-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Mineral Wells (Mineral Wells, TX). The Rams enter the 4A Region I District 6 challenge with a 23-5 record. In their last challenge, Mineral Wells was dropped by Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 challenge, on Friday, September 22. Cooper will attempt to move on its 8-15 season record. The Plainsmen enter the challenge with a 16-18 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wylie (Abilene, TX).
