North Carolina High School Volleyball - Gaston Christian overwhelmed by Gaston Day

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Gaston Day Spartans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Gaston Christian Eagles.

The Spartans (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Lions come into the NCISAA Metrolina battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Hickory Grove Christian achieved victory over Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina battle, on Thursday, September 21. Gaston Christian will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record.
