Maryland High School Volleyball - Governor Thomas Johnson overwhelmed by Urbana

September 19, 2023: Frederick, MD 21701

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Urbana Hawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots.

The Hawks (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD). The Rebels come into the MVAL - Antietam battle with a 0-2 record.

Next, the Patriots clash with the North Hagerstown Hubs (Hagerstown, MD) in a MVAL - Piedmont battle, on Thursday, September 21. Governor Thomas Johnson will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Hubs come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Urbana (Ijamsville, MD).
