Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) backers left the game content Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad triumph over the host Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX), 3-0 in a non-league contest.

Next up, the Knights face the New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 contest, on Friday, September 22. Steele will attempt to better on its 14-23 season record. The Unicorns go into the contest with a 20-14 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX).

With the loss, Johnson moves to 17-18 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Anderson (Austin, TX) to face the Trojans in a 6A Region IV District 26 contest on Friday, September 22. The Trojans go into the contest with a record of 22-7. Anderson won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Bowie (Austin, TX)
