The Broncos now possess a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Comfort for a non-league game on Saturday, September 23. Sonora will meet a Bobcats/Deer team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX). The Bobcats/Deer record now stands at 6-6.

The Chiefs (0-18) will now prepare for their game against Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Matadors enter the 4A Region I District 5 game with a 6-18 record. In their last game, Estacado defeated Idalou (Idalou, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
