The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) and the host Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA), saw Leland's volleyball squad beat Live Oak by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Leland upgrades its record to 4-7 on the year. The Chargers travel to Leigh (San Jose, CA) to play the Longhorns in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton bout on Thursday, September 21. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Leigh won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Prospect (Saratoga, CA)

The Acorns now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Hill for a BVAL - Santa Teresa East bout on Tuesday, September 26. Live Oak will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 13-6.
