The Little Wound Mustangs topped the visiting Wakpala Sioux volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Francis Indian for a A Region 7 test on Friday, September 22. Little Wound will confront a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Colome (Colome, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 1-9.
The Sioux (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Oelrichs (Oelrichs, SD). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Oelrichs gained a win over Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD), 3-0, in a league test.
