The Maquoketa Valley Wildcats topped the host Springville Orioles volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.

The Wildcats now have a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edgewood-Colesburg for a non-league test on Thursday, September 21. Maquoketa Valley will confront a Vikings team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Linn (Troy Mills, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-7.

The Orioles (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Pirates enter the Tri-Rivers - Valley test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Alburnett was knocked off by Central City (Central City, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
