The Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs volleyball team (Monroe, IA), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA)

The Trojans (10-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Nevada (Nevada, IA). The Cubs enter the non-league challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Nevada nipped Pella (Pella, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Cardinal Comets (Eldon, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Prairie City-Monroe will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Moravia (Moravia, IA).
