The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) and the visiting Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX), saw Salado's volleyball squad beat Thorndale by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Salado upgrades its record to 24-9 on the year. The Eagles host La Vega (Waco, TX) to play the Pirates in a 4A Region III District 23 bout on Friday, September 22. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-9. La Vega lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Whitney (Whitney, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 5-25 record. They play next when they host Holland for a 2A Region IV District 26 bout on Saturday, September 23. Thorndale will play a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bremond (Bremond, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 6-15.
