The Savannah Bluejackets held off the host Wayne County Yellow Jackets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bluejackets now have a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryan County for a 1A Area 3 test on Tuesday, September 19. Savannah will confront a Redskins team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Savannah (Savannah, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 12-9.
The Yellow Jackets (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Burke County (Waynesboro, GA). The Bears enter the 4A Area 3 test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Burke County held off Westside (Augusta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
