Texas High School Football - Americas crushed by Franklin

September 19, 2024: El Paso, TX 79936

The Franklin Cougars walloped the host Americas Trail Blazers football team by a score of 51-17 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Coronado Thunderbirds (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 30-10 non-league win over Parkland (El Paso, TX).

The Trail Blazers (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors go into the 5A-1 Region I District 1 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Parkland was ripped by Coronado (El Paso, TX), 30-10, in a non-league challenge.
