Texas High School Football - Southwest Legacy can't hold off Jay

Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Southwest Legacy Titans (Von Ormy, TX), 9-3 in a league battle.

With the win, Jay improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Winn (Eagle Pass, TX) to play the Mavericks in a 5A-1 Region IV District 14 battle on Friday, September 27. The Mavericks go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Winn lost 41-6 in their recent league battle against Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX)

The Titans now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Cigarroa for a 5A-1 Region IV District 14 battle on Friday, September 27. Southwest Legacy will play a Toros team coming off a 24-7 league loss to South San Antonio (San Antonio, TX). The Toros record now stands at 0-4.
