Louisiana High School Football - Madison Prep Academy thwarted by Southside

Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 27-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Southside improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Sharks host Lafayette (Lafayette, LA) to play the Lions in a 5A District 3 battle on Friday, September 27. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Lafayette won 42-0 in their recent non-league battle against Mamou (Mamou, LA)
The now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Oaks for a 3A District 6 battle on Thursday, September 26. Madison Prep Academy will play a Panthers team coming off a 69-7 non-league loss to Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
