New Mexico High School Football - Santa Fe overwhelmed by Sandia

September 19, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87110

In Thursday's league game, the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) football team triumphed over the visiting Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM), by a tally of 51-6.

In their next game, the Matadors battle the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a 6A District 2 game, on Thursday, September 26. Sandia will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 14-12 league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM).

The Demons (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles enter the 6A District 2 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Eldorado was trounced by Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 28-8, in a non-league game.
