The Waubonsie Valley Warriors football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Lockport Porters to 26 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host DeKalb for a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. Waubonsie Valley will meet a Barbs squad coming off a 44-6 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Barbs record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Lockport drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Porters host Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL) to meet the Raptors in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Raptors come into the test with a record of 0-2. Rich Township lost 16-12 in their recent non-league test against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL)
