The Wheeling Wildcats were victorious over the host Maine East Blue Demons football team by a score of 16-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) in a challenge, on Saturday, October 12. Wheeling will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
The Blue Demons (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Cougars enter the challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Vernon Hills lost by Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL), 46-14, in a non-league challenge.
