Arizona High School Flag Football - Mesquite beat Desert Mountain

The Mesquite Wildcats flag football squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves to 7 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Marcos de Niza for a 5A Central test on Tuesday, September 24. Mesquite will meet a Padres squad coming off a 25-13 non-league win over Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ). The Padres record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Desert Mountain drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wolves host O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-1. O'Connor lost 27-24 in their recent non-league test against Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ)
