Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN) and the host Rensselaer Central Bombers (Rensselaer, IN), saw Benton Central's soccer squad knock off Rensselaer Central by a count of 4-2.

The Bison (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN). The Mounties enter the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Southmont by Bethesda Christian (Brownsburg, IN), 6-5, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Bombers battle the Glenn Falcons (Walkerton, IN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 21. Rensselaer Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 6-3 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Kouts (Kouts, IN).
