Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting South Point Pointers (South Point, OH), 4-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Boyd County moves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Minford (Minford, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 8-1. Minford won 17-0 in their recent league test against Northwest (McDermott, OH)

The Pointers now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ironton for a Ohio Valley test on Monday, September 23.
