Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Maeser Prep Academy Lions (Lindon, UT) and the host Draper APA Eagles (Draper, UT), saw Maeser Prep Academy's soccer squad triumph over Draper APA by a count of 6-1.

The Lions (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Waterford (Sandy, UT). The Ravens enter the 2A Region 17 battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Waterford tipped North Summit (Coalville, UT), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the American Heritage Patriots (American Fork, UT) in a 2A Region 17 battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Draper APA will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 8-0 non-league win over American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT).
