Ohio High School Soccer - Ironton knocks off Piketon

In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Ironton Fighting Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Piketon Redstreaks.

The Fighting Tigers (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Chesapeake (Chesapeake, OH). The Panthers go into the Ohio Valley outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Chesapeake was overwhelmed by Valley (Lucasville, OH), 14-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Redstreaks play the Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley outing, on Monday, September 23. Piketon will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Pioneers go into the outing with a 6-3 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Northwest (McDermott, OH).
