The Middletown Knights soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Smithsburg Leopards to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Thursday.

The Knights now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Williamsport for a non-league bout on Monday, September 23. Middletown will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Catoctin (Thurmont, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Smithsburg moves to 3-4 on the year. The Leopards travel to Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD) to play the Warriors in a MVAL - Antietam bout on Monday, September 23. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Boonsboro lost 4-0 in their recent non-league bout against Walkersville (Walkersville, MD)
