The Central Davidson Spartans edged the visiting Eastern Randolph Wildcats football team by a score of 26-20 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Central Davidson will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 22-8 non-league loss to Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC).

The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Parkwood was edged by Butler (Matthews, NC), 20-0, in a non-league challenge.
