The Pioneers go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 28-6 non-league loss to Belleville (Belleville, MI).

The Spartans (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Chargers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Churchill lost by Glenn (Westland, MI), 40-28, in a non-league challenge.
