The Kinston Vikings were victorious over the visiting South Lenoir Blue Devils football team by a score of 26-6 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings face the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Kinston will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 34-28 non-league win over James Kenan (Warsaw, NC).
The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Wallace-Rose Hill fell by Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC), 29-8, in a non-league challenge.
