The South Rowan Raiders football team (China Grove, NC), was topped 53-24 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC)

With the win, Northwest Cabarrus advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Trojans host East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 26. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-1. East Rowan won 12-0 in their recent non-league bout against Concord (Concord, NC)

The Raiders now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Rowan for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 26. South Rowan will encounter a Falcons team coming off a 29-7 non-league win over Carson (China Grove, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.
