St. Francis Prep Terriers (Fresh Meadows, NY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, St. Francis Prep advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign.

The Gaels now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Regis for a test on Tuesday, October 8.
