Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Middletown moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Williamsport (Williamsport, MD) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-2.

The Leopards now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boonsboro for a non-league test on Monday, September 23. Smithsburg will meet a Warriors team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Liberty (Sykesville, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 0-8.
