The North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) volleyball knocked off the visiting Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA), 2-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Raiders now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Grace Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 24. North Cross will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 2-1 league win over Cornerstone Christian (Rockingham, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Miller School of Albemarle drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Eastern Mennonite (Harrisonburg, VA) to clash with the Flames in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Flames come into the bout with a record of 3-0.
