The Asheboro Blue Comets smashed the visiting North Moore Mustangs soccer team by a score of 7-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Blue Comets (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Providence Grove was overwhelmed by Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC), 8-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Graham Red Devils (Graham, NC) in a Mid-Carolina 1A/2A battle, on Monday, September 23. North Moore will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 6-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
