South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Warren advances its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY) to clash with the Purples in a District 14 test on Tuesday, September 24. The Purples come into the test with a record of 10-0. Bowling Green won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, September 25. Barren County will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record.
