In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Coventry Comets soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Benedictine Bengals.
The Comets (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Norton (Norton, OH). The Panthers enter the Metro Athletic outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Norton was edged by Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
