In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Schaumburg Saxons soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Buffalo Grove Bison.

The Saxons (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Willowbrook was tipped by Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL), 4-0, in a league test.

The Bison now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Palatine for a Mid-Suburban - West test on Tuesday, September 24. Buffalo Grove will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to New Trier (Winnetka, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 6-4.
