Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL) and the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), saw Crystal Lake Central's soccer squad prevail over Cary-Grove by a count of 5-1.

The Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Thunder enter the non-league battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Woodstock North tipped Belvidere (Belvidere, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Trojans battle the McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) in a Fox Valley battle, on Tuesday, September 24. Cary-Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL).
